A mentoring session gives artists and students the opportunity to receive positive and helpful guidance, critique and feedback. Dominique will help you explore conceptual themes and practical solutions to resolving your work. In this exciting new workshop Dominique will guide both the beginner and the more experienced artist through the process involved in working with clay from the life model.
We will be exploring how form can be used as a vehicle for communicating character and emotion. Students will be encouraged to broaden their observational skills with a focus on developing a sculptural language which conveys character by playing with such devices as rhythm, texture, abstraction, emphasis and repetition, paying attention to how the great sculptors in history have used form in all its various articulations as a means of expression.Find out more »
Painting for Beginners
In this introductory course we will look at the fundamentals of painting. Students will learn about materials, tone, composition and colour in fun, easy exercises that will give you a good understanding of the basics skill of painting. No experience is necessary.Find out more »
This class is designed for intermediate to advanced students and will focus on the various genres of painting from still life to portraiture and landscape through the study of techniques, mediums and paint manipulation.
It will encourage individuality and personally support each artists' strengths. It will also offer a mentoring
environment for students exploring their own particular artistic objectives or developing a body of work.

This three day intensive course is for people who are interested in photography as art-form. This workshop is not about learning new technical skills but instead designed to improve each student’s understanding of their own photographic practice, their relationship with photography as art and their choice of subjects and genre.
